I will add that I had to go to IRC to be told: "The latest official gnunet version (and therefore the latest that the ubuntu repos would have) is 0.10.1, but that version came out in 2014 and is more or less abandoned as i understand it. most users are currently using either the git repo or a prerelease of 0.11.0 which should be released relatively soon."
