The output generated by cf-agent is mailed to the address specified in the body executor control, if cf-agent has been invoked by cf-execd. Duplicate reports are suppressed in order to avoid spamming the admin mailbox. So far so good. My question is: are duplicate reports suppressed forever? AFAIR in cfengine 2, reports were suppressed for the period of one day. Is this still the case with cfengine 3? The reference manual doesn't mention this. Is it still true that one can reset the suppression by deleting the 'previous' symlink in the /var/cfengine/outputs folder?
