Neil: My purpose is not about controlling the mount/unmount of the filesystem itself. Rather it is about controlling other subsequent actions (e.g. installing files) only if the expected filesystem for that path is already mounted. Nick: Yes, my reading of the ref manual documentation of "storage:" seems to concur with yours, that the promises seems always to be about "nfs". If our reading is incorrect, then we have a serious documentation bug. (But my query isn't about controlling the mount itself; rather it is about controlling actions based on whether the filesystem is or is not mounted.) To re-iterate: Have a look at 1280 where I try to apply a little more generality. We have functions to query files ('isdir()', 'fileexists()', etc.), but we seem to lack analogous functions for querying filesystems, mountpoints, etc. _______________________________________________ Help-cfengine mailing list Help-cfengine@cfengine.org https://cfengine.org/mailman/listinfo/help-cfengine
