Forum: CFEngine Help Subject: Re-open: lock-log file Author: bernhard.gl...@ecologic.eu Link to topic: https://cfengine.com/forum/read.php?3,21585,26149#msg-26149
hi all, different environment same problem... I'm runing communitiy version 3.1.2 and "cf-execd -F" is executed each 5 minutes as proposed in the example... well cf-agent get's executed and seems to work fine but: - on each call I got the error "...posix_spawn("/opt/local/sbin/cf-execd -F", ...): No such file or directory " - when called manually (cf-execd -F) and killed with strg-c it says "Can't open lock-log file ... System error for fopen: No such file or directory" - when called manually without the -F parameter it says: "Unable to kill expired cfagent.." (not cf-agent?) "...process 1928 from lock lock.internal_bundl.exec_cfengine.handle.-.the_executor_agent_........." Well and /state/cf_lock.db exists ... Now: Is there anything I can do (beside upgrading ;-) to help the system at least to get rid of invalid locks (like the last message above)? Any "db_vacuum_my_unused_locks()" to call from time to time or so?
