Forum: CFEngine Help Subject: Thread died in Berkeley DB library Author: roman.borovi...@ppdi.com Link to topic: https://cfengine.com/forum/read.php?3,26071,26071#msg-26071
Guys, I wonder if anybody else met the same situation? Sporadically cf-agent reports the following: rpmdb: Thread/process 30680/3077711648 failed: Thread died in Berkeley DB library error: db3 error(-30974) from dbenv->failchk: DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database recovery error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - (-30974) error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm At the same time everything with RPM DB is fine. I also tried to re-create RPM DB but it didn't help. All which I have inside CFEngine configuration is number of classes like: "has_net_snmp" expression => returnszero("/bin/rpm --quiet -q net-snmp","noshell"); Important: it is happens ONLY on RHEL 6.2 test box and 200+ our RHEL 5 servers work fine! Some information about the system: # uname -a Linux ausrhtestdr.austin.ppdi.com 2.6.32-220.17.1.el6.i686 #1 SMP Thu Apr 26 13:37:46 EDT 2012 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux # cat /etc/redhat-release Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.2 (Santiago) # rpm -q cfengine-community cfengine-community-3.3.2-1.i386 Any help is greatly appreciated.
