Forum: CFEngine Help Subject: allclasses.txt removed from 3.3 Author: msvob...@linkedin.com Link to topic: https://cfengine.com/forum/read.php?3,25550,25550#msg-25550
It seems that /var/cfengine/state/allclasses.txt was removed from 3.3. I'm not sure if this was intentional or accidental from the refactoring of the backend code (removal of BerkeleyDB, etc..) A few folks relied on allclasses.txt to see what global classes were defined on the host. Now that its no longer being generated, if we want to continue to use this functionality, we'll need to write a policy and dump to it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to extract all defined global classes so we can dump them into a file? I'm guessing we could just define another policy to do this. Might be handy to also dump all defined global variables if its possible as well.
