I want to define a variable, and use it in the middle of edit files.  

for a brief example:

bundle agent conf_system_syslog
{
  vars:

    ipv4_192_168_235::
      "syslog_host" slist => { "192.167.235.34" };

    ipv4_192_168_5::
      "syslog_host" slist => { "192.167.5.12" };

 
}

bundle edit_line sysklog_config
{
  insert_lines:
    redhat_5&!cpp_syslog_host::

      "*.info;mail.none;authpriv.none;cron.non  @"$("syslog_host")";
}


Suggestions?
