It would help tremendously if you could cf-monitord in foreground mode under valgrind (valgrind --tool=memcheck --leak-check=yes --show-reachable=yes --track-origins=yes <program>), and then stop it after it leaked enough memory (~50 megs is more than enough) and collect output.
