Where did you add "immediate()"? cf-execd will execute commands in your executor control body. (exec_command) I presumed it would run failsafe.cf and then promises.cf So to see a result by mail, you might want to run cf-agent -f failsafe.cf && cf-agent Best practise is to use cf-promises looking for errors every time you change the policy.
