I am running CFEngine 2.2 on RedHat Linux/s390x, running under z/VM.
I compiled and packaged CFEngine just as I did for my RedHat servers on x86

These zLinux servers use the same cfengine policies as my servers running on
HP, or in VMware.

However:
We are *not* running CFEngine on z/OS (DOS-MVS) , z/VM (CP/CMS) , or DOS-VSE
... or i/OS (AS/400)
I'm not familiar-enough with these operating-systems to tell you whether such a
thing is/isn't possible.

... but (should that be what you want to do) a couple of quick filters run
against the 2.2.8 source-code do not appear to return any code/comments related
to ASCII-to-EBCDIC conversion. (outlook not so good)

Regards,
David
