Forum: Cfengine Help Subject: Re: Linux (Redhat, etc.) bonded network interfaces Author: davidlee Link to topic: https://cfengine.com/forum/read.php?3,22369,22372#msg-22372
Thanks for the replies: Deb: I don't see how bindtointerface helps with setting up layered bonded interfaces. My problem isn't about cfengine binding itself to any particular interface at all. It is about defining a layered structure of data (which happens to be about network interfaces, but in a sense that is almost irrelevant) and then using that structured data to set up various files (which happen to be network "ifcfg-*" files, but ). Neil: Ultimately I could use that to check what has already been set up; indeed I probably ought to, so thanks for the tip. But the question is about setting it up in the first instance (the checking comes later!). _______________________________________________ Help-cfengine mailing list Help-cfengine@cfengine.org https://cfengine.org/mailman/listinfo/help-cfengine
