I have never used them, but I think abortclasses and abortbundleclasses should do what you want: http://www.cfengine.org/manuals/cf3-reference.html#abortclasses-in-agent http://www.cfengine.org/manuals/cf3-reference.html#abortbundleclasses-in-agent A list of class regular expressions that cf-agent will watch out for. If any matching class becomes defined, it will cause the current execution of cf-agent to be aborted.
