Maybe I wasn't clear enough. You were right about $(sys.host) and $(sys.fqhost), they work fine and are much elegant solutions than my 'hostname' command. I just tried to explain why I need the additional classes. I define a class very similar to "host_$(sys.uqhost)" and I use it to choose the right promises. I am quite pleased with my solution. Ps. I mentioned the IP address classes because I use them. Ps2.
