Back when we ran cf2, the standard operating procedure was to restart cfexecd on clients & servers at some pre-defined interval. This was before I started managing our cfengine processes, and I do not recall exactly why it was determined that it was necessary. Has anyone here ever seen a need to restart cf3's cf-execd on some regular schedule on all hosts? If so, why?
