Hello, I am new to Cfengine and am having trouble with regular expressions. For example, I want to modify a line in a file from,
ifconfig_lm2="up" to ifconfig_lm2="up mtu 9000" I actually tried just deleting and inserting a new line, but the line ends up at the bottom of the file, and that's not what we want. So, I'm reading Ch 2.10 Pattern match & referencing in the online cf3-reference, and my head hurts. I really am having trouble seeing the forest for the trees here. Can someone suggest to me how I might approach this edit? On the surface it seems simple, but I'm really not getting how to do it. Any insight would be helpful at this point. Thanks, Dave
