Hi,
I want use a config file management for many gentoo systems and I want give
cfengine 3 a chance.

I read some documents [1] but I did not find any information about a minimal
setup (i.e. 1 server and 2 clients). The quickstart "Howto" [2] is not very
helpful too. I found only one good example under [3].

What I want:
I want start with a really minimal cf3 setup and then i.e. create a file on
both clients or change the content of this file on one of the both clients. If
I have a working minimal setup I can play around the different options of cf3.
After this I can expand this setup with i.e. with svn and other useful options.

I need information about follow objects:
- What must I install and how must I configure it on the server system?
- What must I install and how must I configure it on the client systems?
- What is the best way for the key exchange?
- root access via ssh is not allowed on the clients. How can I i.e. add an user?

Are there a good tutorials about this, what I want?

Best regards,
malte.
