I'm working on moving from v2 to v3 (community, 3.1.2) and have run across 3 items I could use some clarification on;
I've set hostnamekeys to "true" in both agent & server control, and am still getting root-MD5 keys. Is it no longer possible to have hostname keys? I'm aware of the "cf-key -s" work-around, but I'd still like hostname keys. After some testing, it looks like despite documentation to the contrary, allowconnects, allowallconnects, and trustkeysfrom will only accept ip addresses or regexes describing ip addresses. Correct? I've set 'logallconnections => "true";' in my server control body, which the documentation says will "causes the server to log all new connections to syslog." I'm not seeing any external connects logged, however. Am I missing something, or is this broken?
