It works fine for me on 3.1.3. cfengine-3.1.3# src/cf-agent -V This comprises cf-agent core community version 3.1.3 - Copyright Copyright (C) Cfengine AS 2008,2010- cfengine-3.1.3# src/cf-agent -f /tmp/join.cf -b test -K R: Concatenated one<->two<->three<->four<->five I don't remember which version they introduced this build-in function but if you use cfengine > 3.1.0, it should work.
