We deliberately took this out in v3 to avoid problems with matching. I can apologize for some mess in getting these things typed in properly, but eventually we want to end up with as close to a standard output on each platform, otherwise the advertised search features will not work. In Neil's case it looks like the confluence of two fixes has resulted in a new problem. This often happens, and it's why we value the feedback.
