Hello,

I noticed that when you create a directory named "repos" in the
masterfiles CF3 directory, having a freshly bootstrapped (not modified
yet) environment, it makes the default promises set halt with :

--- BEGIN CODE ---
r...@mcerda-deb-vm3:/var/cfengine/inputs# cf-agent -I -K
/var/cfengine/inputs/repos is not a plain file
File /var/cfengine/inputs/repos was marked for editing but could not be
opened
I: Report relates to a promise with handle ""
I: Made in version 'not specified' of '/var/cfengine/inputs/site.cf'
near line 81
I: Comment: Check if there are still promises about cfengine 2 that need
removing

r...@mcerda-deb-vm3:/var/cfengine/inputs#
--- END CODE ---

site.cf line 81 is all about compatibility with CF2 files, so it should
not make things go boom like that.

I'm using CF3 trunk 1475, on a debian squeeze/testing virtual machine.

Is it a known issue, promise quirk or CF3 bug ?

Regards,
