Forum: Cfengine Help Subject: Re: Syntax checking without promise analyze Author: absinfo_...@yahoo.com Link to topic: https://cfengine.com/forum/read.php?3,18689,18823#msg-18823
Hello again, Perhaps this was my mistake I have not highlighted the purpose. I put subversion and cfengine configuration and binaries are there now. I use post-commit to distribute the changes to master cfengine "home" directory. And the issue is: simply, I'd like to syntax check every change which goes to subversion and use pre-commit hook to make sure at least syntax is correct. This I believe is simple but powerful technique which decreases faults. Hints, ideas? Many thanks, Eduard ------------------------------------------------------- > Dear community, > > I wonder if there is a possibility in having > syntax check only for a particular promise file.
