Neil, first two expressions aren't exactly equivalent. !Sunday.!Morning.!dev_env.!phost is equal to !(Sunday|Morning|dev_env|phost). Last expression contains one extra parenthesis which makes me thinking that some important part of the expression has been omitted, and it really affects something.
