Replying to my own posting :-) After much googling, I have found other similar occurrences of this behaviour with other software. One suggestion was to add a line to the /etc/gai.conf file. In Fedora, this file does not exist by default but a sample is included - /usr/share/doc/glibc-common-2.11.2/gai.conf.
I copied this file to /etc, uncommented the default labels and added, as per the suggestion, label ::/128 0 Now the behaviour I get with cfservd is that it is only listening on IPv6, which isn't a proper solution as it would be nice to get it listening on both but at least I have solved my immediate problem of being able to get through my DSL NAT (IPv6 tunnel). > What I need to know is whether anyone else is running cfservd on Fedora > and if you have IPv6 configured, do you see cfservd listening on both > IPv4 and IPv6. I am still interested to hear from anyone running cfservd in a similar environment to my own. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Glen and Rosanne Eustace, GodZone Internet Services, a division of AGRE Enterprises Ltd., P.O.
