It is curious that there are 3 different opinions, which leads me to believe it is an OS thing. I don't mind restarting cf-serverd every week, it works fine and without disruption. I don't generally need to on the clients. I'll try and not post more until I have a little more concrete evidence either way. I know how hard memory leaks are. I remember when I was a younger lad doing debugging and actually restoring to looking through memory for corrupted 0xdeadbeef (old school memory padding). It is a long and arduous process. Like finding a needle in a stack of needles under train A traveling at 35mph from station A, while a train B is traveling from station B at 55mph, 22 3/16 miles away. At some point they meet on a parabolic curve and the needle is there somewhere. _______________________________________________ Help-cfengine mailing list Help-cfengine@cfengine.org https://cfengine.org/mailman/listinfo/help-cfengine
