Hi guys,
i'm in the middle of an upgrade from 3.02 to 3.04.
The central cf-serverd is still running 3.02.

I'm testing 3.04 on one of the clients and i'm having this kind of issue with
remote file copy.

cf3  -> Destination file "/var/cfengine/inputs/update.cf" already exists
cf3  !! Image file /var/cfengine/inputs/update.cf has a wrong MD5 checksum
(should be copy of /var/cfengine/masterfiles/inputs/update.cf)
cf3  -> Updated /var/cfengine/inputs/update.cf from source
/var/cfengine/masterfiles/inputs/update.cf on 192.168.200.97
cf3 Was not able to copy /var/cfengine/masterfiles/inputs/update.cf to
/var/cfengine/inputs/update.cf
cf3 I: Report relates to a promise with handle "update_policy"
cf3 I: Made in version 'not specified' of '/var/cfengine/inputs/update.cf' near
line 19
cf3 !! Transmission refused or failed statting
/var/cfengine/masterfiles/inputs/promises.cf
Got: W<87>\<E0>m^MM<FC>
cf3  !! (Can't stat /var/cfengine/masterfiles/inputs/promises.cf)
cf3 !!! System error for cf_stat: "Operation not permitted"

The 3.04 node is running the same promises as the other nodes and the 3.02
clients are not having any issue.
It shouldn't be a compatibility issue between the two versions right?
Do you have any hints on more actions i should take to further debug this
problem?

Thank you for your time and attention.

cheers

sergio
