Hi there, is there any internal mechanism in CFengine (v2) to make sure not all hosts of a certain class run a certain task at once (because it will take them out of service during that time) .
For example we have clusters of hosts performing the same service behind a load balancer. Additionally we have a few long-running maintenance or update tasks, that take single nodes out of service when they are run. Obvoiusly I need to make sure that this never happens on more than a few hosts at the same time. I would prefer not to limit single hosts to predefined timeslots or dates. Can i accomplish this without some kind of "lock" on a shared drive ? May "strategies:" help me with this? Best regards, Andreas Balg
