One could setup a semaphore-based class, so cf-serverd restarts when its config timestamp changes... Which is easy enough, though admittedly a hack since there is an official way, but the real point is this may very well have real advantages to always re-reading on change. At the very least, it may be useful (community edition or not) to provide an easily accessible knob for controlling the behavior.
