Is there a safe way to use the purge feature? I can see it being valuable for
infrequent periodic use to clean up files that are removed from the masterfiles
directory but then left in clients' inputs directories. (I've already been
wanting something like this during my deploy testing.)

Thanks for the feedback, I'm optimistic now that the accidental
purging will disappear. Then I can retire my cf3-client-refresh.sh
script (which copies cf3 binaries and *.cf files into /var/cfengine
and runs cf-agent -KI).
