globals.cf
promises.cf (contains agent configs)
classes.cf (setting global classes).
cf-serverd.cf (also contains runagent)
cf-execd.cf
update.cf
failsafe.cf
library.cf (custom resusable bundles and bodies)

Then I break things down based on what the policy does for example.
hardening.cf for misc hardening promises such as defined by pci.
services.cf
network.cf for interfaces, resolver and firewall settings
profiles.cf global and local shell and other environment promises

I advise to avoid any prefixes (e.g. dg_). Like KDE, is seems like a good
idea but I feel that is loosed meaning over time and just cause one to
have to type more.

Sincerely,
