Hi,

I am just starting with cfengine and have a few basic questions.

First, a little explanation as to my setup:

I downloaded the latest release ( cfengine-3.0.3.tar.gz) and I have it
working on a single host.

I want to set up that host as a distribution server. I have created the
/var/cfengine/masterfiles directory and everything seems ok so far on that
host. It updates the /var/cfengine/inputs directory and checks some file
permissions correctly etc.

Now I want to set up another system as an 'end host.'

I have seen rpms that seen to contain only portions of the tarball eg.
cfengine3-agent-3.0.2-1mdv2010.0, cfengine3-monitord-3.0.2-1mdv2010.0,
cfengine3-serverd-3.0.2-1mdv2010.0 .

Does every host need all the binaries or is it possible to just use some of or
only one of the binaries on an 'end host', eg. cf-agent?

And finally, does Cfengine provide any rpms for download? My platform is Red
Hat Server 5.3.

Thanks,

Lisa
