This evening I spent some time with a client. It seems that a syntax error was introduced into inputs. The error was in the client configuration. However it appeared that the server process began refusing client connections. I think we had a discussion about this during the summer. We discussed that the server might do better to ignore the agent configuration.
Tomorrow I'll try to come up with some test code but it should be easy for anyone to reproduce. Simply introduce a syntax error into an input file in a area not related to the server daemon. When the server rereads the files an error should occur.
