Hi,
Is there (ever) going to be a cfengine version with out the requirement of BerkeleyDB?

Currently this requirement is, at least for me, the main argument hindering the roll out of cfengine on platforms such as AIX or HP-UX. Although I realise there are loads of people that have no problems in getting it to work, for me the track record I have with BerkeleyDB (e.g. incombination with subversion or openldap) on non-linux systems doesn't exactly fill me with joy.

That in combination with recent developments (http://www.oracle.com/corporate/press/2006_feb/sleepycat.html) leaves me to hope there will be a '--without-berkeleydb' option in upcomming releases of cfengine.
