That is stalled because I currently lack time for it. I still think it is a Good Thing to be able at all to maintain office documents as code. As you probably recall, the initial idea was to improve translations because some _very_ strange strings came from chunks in the ODT that were selected by hand with a mouse. So if you still think the idea looks worthy, my suggestion is to leave the issue open and don't kill the chance of getting it done sooner or later.
