Yes Luis. The medicine database needs to be able to record the medicine strength per unit of administration dose.
g/mg/microgram per mL/capsule/tablet/dose As you rightly suggested this will enable the link between what a doctor might precribe - mg - and what the patient/nurse needs to understand - mL/tablet/capsule.
