I've noticed HDFS-8867 issue has been resolved, and it would probably fix one of issues with our HDFS installation. We're running cluster on 2.7.1 and with average 400K blocks per node we experience massive GC pauses right after BlockReport has been sent. Every reasonable GC tuning was already tried to be made with no effect. My question is: when are you planning to release 2.7.2 target version patching this issue and can this patch be safely applied to 2.7.1 release distrib? Kind regards, Sergey Kazakov
