+1 (non-binding) overall
- Downloaded both source and binary tarballs successfully.
- Verified md5 on both, correct.
- Ran `mvn apache-rat:check` on extracted source tarball, passed
- Built source tarball successfully with 'mvn package'.
- Started single node cluster using the built package and did some basic
hdfs operations, success.
- Ran a couple jobs using the example MR jar, results ok
- Verified all fixed 2.6.3 JIRAs are in the corresponding components'
CHANGES.txt - HADOOP, HDFS, YARN and MR. 1 type mismatch listed below.
Issues:
HDFS-9434 is type 'Improvement' on JIRA, but listed in Bug fix section
in CHANGES.txt
