Hi, I am trying to configure eclipse for hadoop development. I am working on my first JIRA.
I followed the instructions at http://wiki.apache.org/hadoop/EclipseEnvironment But, I see that the following projects have build failures. Is this expected? Can I continue my programming ignoring these errors? hadoop-common hadoop-hdfs hadoop-mapreduce-client-common hadoop-yarn-api hadoop-yarn-server-common hadoop-yarn-server-nodemanager Or, am I missing something here? Also, I wanted to ask if there is some IRC channel for HDFS development, where people can quickly communicate with each other regarding issues. Thank you. Regards, Vivek Ganesan
