No error message returned when we use "hdfs dfs -copyFromLocal" in error

while using "dfs -copyFromLocal" without dest path the error message is
inadequate.
For instance:
$hdfs dfs -copyFromLocal /work/tmp/xg
copyFromLocal: `.': File exists
However, more useful message is expected.
