"Developer Tools" is actually what the HP requires. I think it might be under the XCode umbrella. Still, the Macbook Air doesn't come with an install for XCode or Developer Tools. How can gcc require this stuff, though? Doesn't gcc pre-date all of this stuff by a decade and a half?
