Well, if you want to get picky there is the '!' operator defined in Data.Map:
import Data.Map
universe :: Map String (Map String String)
universe = fromList [("Milky Way", fromList [("Sun", "It's home!")])]
earth :: String
earth = universe ! "Milky Way" ! "Sun"
