+1. Since Eclipse allows us to create our own formatting profile, we could use that profile to suit our personal coding styles and then use Tims profile to format the code before submitting the patch.


I think having the example is good, but Eclipse isn't the only IDE, so coding standards should be described independently of any one IDE (but of course offer configs for whatever IDEs people are using to make it easy to use...)
