Hi, Distribution of standalone apps (not contained in package repositories) on Linux is in the dark age.
For a possible solution to the problem, check the installer of Google Earth for Linux. It's nothing standard, but it seems to work in a generic and user-friendly way. [ Another candidate could be Skype for Linux, but I didn't check it more closely. ] Brgds, Viktor On 2010 Apr 19, at 17:11, Pritpal Bedi wrote: > > Hello Everybody > > How can I prepare a Linux build as ready-to-use package > for Linux ?
