Sorry, but now I tried your suggestion to create a new panel with new color, but to no avail, so it's difficult to suggest anything. For sure current green icon has one strange property: When I first click on it, it has a "button-like" behavior, it depresses. After clicking on it next, this never happens again, and the icon feels "dead", doesn't depress, feels un-clickable, yet it looks the same. >> There must surely be a default active codec after >> startup (f.e. 437?), which should be displayed. Anyhow if we can't tell what is the default encoding used by QT, probably "(default)" should be written here. Even better would be to find out what is the QT default. At the same time, I'd suggest changing term "Codec" to "Encoding". Also the "Setup" main menu may seem superfluous now, so everything can be moved one level up, making Encoding the main menu.
