[Harbour] [Pritpal] HBIDE editor tabs illegible

In Mandriva Linux 2010.0 I am seeing this:-

The tab titles are not readable.
Also there is no response to File->new->project.
I can find no way to open multiple .prg files.
Like - navigate to a folder and open *.prg and then save as a project ?
Maybe I am missing something ;-/
