It wasn't a build error, just warnings, and
the binaries should have worked.
My BCC reported errors like
Error E2342 ../../../wapi_shellapi.c 71: Type mismatch in parameter 'cdp'
(wanted 'void *', got 'int') in function HB_FUN_WAPI_SHELLEXECUTE
and interrupted the build but now it seems ok.
