I have seen in forums reports about index corruption between clipper and harbour, and they always say that the trouble are locking differences between clipper and harbour. This trouble, or simply using another codepage different from that clipper use (spanish users using harbour default). An corrupt the indexes if they use UPPER, etc. I think that you must put more explicitly that situation in documentation despite they will not use harbour cause they thing they are not compatible to work together.

Thank you

Maurizio

Okay I see.

Although in 5.2e I see two Spanish sorting modules:
MDXSPA 1.3e
NTXSPA 1.21e
With 5.3b, these two are shipped:
MDXSPA 1.3e
NTXSPA 1.31f

If they are different and we'd like to support all of them,
it may be a problem. In this case I'd pick one of them instead
of adding yet new versions. Anyhow even the current wrong one
was never reported in 10 years as a bug, so I guess we are
also free to fix it or choose the *best* version.

The latest (and probably the best) is NTXSPA 1.31f (dated 1997).

Brgds,
Viktor
