It's not make_gnu.bat's job. You need mpkg_gnu.bat
instead of make_gnu.bat, that's it.

You should check why file 'COPYING' cannot be copied
into its final place. You can remove '> nul' from copy
lines in mpkg_gnu.bat, maybe it will give some more
information.
Haven't seen this error yet, so I have no ready
answer.
