Please help. I posted this to the Nabble forum but it seems not to have made it to the list. I can not make any test xhgtk program run from a desktop launcher or a file manager SINCE updating Harbour and xhgtk from SVN in early January. I have builds of tests (F.e. button.prg made during December which launch OK but if I re-build now they will ONLY from a terminal. I think maybe something in SVN changed between December and January that has caused this? The only error that I can see when attempting to launch outside a terminal is written to xsession-errors which is "TERM environment variable needs set." However the TERM env var seems OK.
~$ echo $TERM
xterm
I have tried two new O.S. installs on my machine (new partition) both Gnome and KDE but with no change. I have put new test builds built on this machine (AMD 64 (32bit) with nvidia graphics) on another machine running the same O.S (Mandriva 2009.0 KDE4 with older Intel video) and they launch OK.
I am lost.
I have a help request running in the Mandriva forum here which may give more background:-

Thanks in advance,
Barry
