Probably due to the way CreateWindow is executed on REFRESH method.
I suspect it more than font resizing issue which was carried out
before
also.
Please think on these lines.
Also I find it difficult to manage if window is not created at
startup.
For me HB_NOSTARTUPWINDOW methodology was perfect instead of
current one. At least window was available right after
hb_gtCreate()/hb_gtReload()
and it was possible to change behaviors before it was shown.
Now I have to explictly issue CLS to force it to be present.
Well, if there is no screen output there is not much
point in having a window, so this don't seem to be
big restriction. Most probably only a problem for the
few ones doing development and testing on GTWVT itself
(meaning 5 ppl in the world - worst case).
HB_NOSTARTUPWINDOW doesn't solve the flashing problem
while app code tries to setup GT parameters. Besides
being a very hack, solving a very narrow need in the
wrong (but easy) way.
So I'd suggest not to solve the WinCE problem by
reintroducing this horrible hack _and_ reintroducing
the flashing/slow startup window effect.
I'm sure there is a proper solution.
