it probably is not that important, but this might be an explanation:
In the xbase++ forums, you can often see people writing about "harbour",
but what they mean is the commercial release of xHarbour. And the latter
IS a competitor to xbase++...

And I do not know how much the concept of free software (free as in free
speech) has been discussed in their community. Free software where it is
perfectly allowed to have & keep & copy the source code, to fork a
project, ... isn't that great (I'm serious!)?

Having said that: Keep up your superb work, guys! Congrats to 1.0.x!!
And thank you for releasing your great work as free software!
